The Interview
What is the latest book have you red? What will be the next?
“Poesia interrotta” by P. Eluard and “Introduzione alla biofilia. La relazione con la Natura tra genetica e psicologia” by G.Barbiero, R.Berto (I read at the same time more books: one of poetry, one for pleasure, one for work).
The next: “Mente e natura” by G. Bateson
Where will your next travel destination be?
For work: To Perugia for the Convention on the XIV giornata Nazionale del Giardino dell’UGAI
For pleasure: to Bilbao, with colleagues-friends , having a journey which every year brings us to visit some place in the world
What is your favourite colour?
Long time ago I would answer orange, now I answer fucsia, tomorrow I could answer something else. For my part, colours are a state of mind.
What is the plant you prefer?
It is the Fagus sylvatica for its strength, elegance and the widespread energy. The beech forest of Mount Amiata makes me enchanted
Where would you live?
Everywhere I can find a considerable amount of nature, sun and water – sea, lake, river… it could be paddies too 😉 – with a wifi
What is your favorite historical era?
I’m living certainly my time, with its all contradictions and obstacles. My focus is more the future than the past. I wouldn’t ever go back, except for browsing and snooping around in different eras
In a few words, could you describe a scene portraying “beauty and elegance”?
It is the staging of nature: for examples a flower going to blossom or a flower bloomed yet..any flower. It seems as a staging of any Emily Dickinson’s poems
Over the centuries the Moon has represented different symbols and has been charmed many cultures because of its several characteristics. What is the one fascinates you more?
The way it can silver the landscape, countryside, a garden. Its power refracts the light in the darkness, on the water, inside the water or during a night diving. And how it makes what has been revealed under its light memorable
What is a garden for you?
A place which you have to take care of. A place which can take care of you, of well-being
