From the 19th to the 21st of May, Orticolario will be in France, at the Domaine de Chantilly Park, to report on the wonders of the spring edition of the prestigious event “Journées des Plantes de Chantilly”.
It is presented within a rare and formal garden, in which the geometrical and conceptual quadrate order are composed and decomposed amongst the canopy of the satsuki azaleas.
Games of perspectives and mirrors transform and magnify the perception of the spaces surrounded by majestic Taxodium distichum and by the small lake ” Lago dei Cigni”, which for the occasion, hosts floating water gardens.
At the centre of the garden, the square transforms in a tridimensional structure, made in brushed steel, a cube without walls. Only its outlines define the boundaries.
Its mirroring ceiling and its window opened into the sky make it a private sanctuary where you can find solitude to reflect. The sky, where keys to gardens and soils lay, is reflected inside a tank full to the brim with water.
So the geometries, symbol of perfection, the water, the lights in the sky, the leaves, the trees, ….merge into a space of reflection to find yourself again and observe the landscape surrounding you.
“Reflets” (“Reflections”) is a garden and a call to contemplation, it is the custodian of the meeting place and dialogue between man and nature.
