The permanence of the installation has been extended until January 21, 2022

The work is enjoying great success. Much appreciated also by the foreign public.

From virtual to real

Orticolario and the Municipality of Cernobbio present

“Quotidianità”

Art in art with a site-specific installation in Cernobbio, inside Villa Bernasconi, one of the rare examples of Art Nouveau architecture on Lake Como and now home to an interactive museum.

The work is signed by the young artist Francesco Marchini and represents a path of rapprochement with the environment, or the ecosystem in which we are immersed.

It is the expression of a personal experience, where a choice is explored, the crossroads in front of which a pollen allergic finds himself: wandering stunned in the landscape or finding a solution that makes coexistence possible.

It is precisely from the attempt to change the perception of the natural element that the search for a stronger relationship with the environment begins.
The repetition of the artistic gesture, consisting in setting thousands of fir needles, thus becomes the creator of a connection, restoring an affinity with the earth in which allergy is no longer a pathology, but a connection.

And it all happens in the darkness of a garden under construction…

“Quotidianità” is among the projects presented on the virtual platform Orticolario “The Origin” in October 2020 and which is now coming true.
