Saturday October 1st,
Central Pavilion, garden “Reincarnation-Circulation of life. The birth of Kaguya Hime”
with the protagonists of the project Satoru Tabata | 園三 Enzo, landscape architect, Vaprio Zanoni | Green Design, gardener, and Yoshiko Miwa | 園三 Enzo, gardener.
Event in Japanese, with simultaneous translation into Italian.
Based on a true story.
Some time ago, while Satoru Tabata was using a small broom of bamboo branches to clean the pavement and stones of a garden, Vaprio Zanoni asked him why he did not use, for greater convenience, a broom with a long handle. Giving him one, Satoru replied: “We use them to be closer to the work we are doing and to better see the result”.
In an anecdote and in the essentiality of a sentence, the opening on an extraordinary thought, a philosophy in which the landscape sensitivity in Japanese culture, based on cure, details, attention, deep respect for nature, a refined and elegant aesthetic, is compared with that of Italy.
