“Elevare” an outdoor lifestyle!
As portable treehouses: here they are Tentsile tents.
The comfort of an hammack and the safety of a tent are combined to make you enjoy huge open spaces with unprecedented convenience.
The story started thanks to two Londoner friends, passionate about the forest moon of Endor in the movie “Star Wars”.
Inspired by the idea trees could be saved if humans had been lived symbiotically, in 2002 the treehouses architect Alex Shirley-Smith hung up a portable treehouse prototype in the his living room.
Ten years later, after dozen of sketches, Alex and the designer and inventor Kirk Kirchev joined forces.
In an abandoned church in the South of London, in 2012 they developed Tentsile Stingray, going to production and trading a year later.
What’s more, Stingray was shown at Moma in New York and at Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoin in Paris.
Moreover, a new tent collection to camp around the world when you want.
“Elevate” mind and body, to discover new perspectives and start among trees observing the Moon.
