On the occasion of the International Competition “Creative Spaces”, the “Lake Como Golden Leaf” Award returns to Villa Carlotta (Tremezzina), the rightful shelter of Gino Seguso’s Prize which has been specifically crafted for Orticolario by an historical glassmaker-firm: Vetreria Artistica Archimede Seguso.
The award is a curvaceous glass vase in which floats a golden leaf decorated with gold 24k, and blown on Murano island (Venice)
The Award ceremony will take place in Villa Carlotta
Friday 22nd April 2016, 11.00 am
Roberto Benatti and Luca Bonoldi currently hold the prize “La Foglia d’oro del Lago di Como”, as 2015 edition Winners of the contest “Concluso con tatto”. Their names will be written into the Golden Book, following Barbara Negretti and Archiverde (2013 winners) and just next to Simone Ottonello e Archiverde (2014 winners).
Moritz Mantero, co-founder of the event, will attend to the Award ceremony, along with Alfredo Ratti and Maria Angela Previtera, manager of Villa Carlotta, and Gino Seguso as well.
The Prize is on display at Villa Carlotta, until next edition of Orticolario, beginning on 30th September until 2nd October 2016.
